The Administration of Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) Karachi has been fired that doctor from job allegedly for sending a friend request on Social Media (Facebook) to his patients.
Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy took this matter to social media and expressed her displeasure and disapproval on this incident.
She wrote about this that her sister went to the AKU Hospital's emergency for medical treatment and doctor who deal with her tried to add her on Facebook later.

A Lawer of supreme court Mr. Khalil Ahmed Siddiqui, Says that sending an Friend add request on any social media forum does not fall under any definition of harassment. “It is not an offence,” However, the act could be against the policy of AKUH.
